Moderation and Reports Policy

This policy explains how we review content and handle reports and notices of illegal content, including under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act) and the Law of Ukraine “On Copyright and Related Rights”.

1. How we moderate

2. Notice of decisions

If content is not published for editorial reasons, we may not give a reason and are not obliged to reply to follow-up messages. If we restrict content or a profile because it breaks our rules or the law, we send a short statement of reasons where the law requires it and we know your email address.

3. Reporting content

Use the “Report” button next to profiles and recipes, or email legal@buryaki.com with: a link to the content; why it breaks the rules or the law; your name and email (except for reports of child sexual abuse material); and a statement that you are acting in good faith. We handle reports as quickly as we can and prioritize clearly illegal content.

4. Copyright infringement

See “Copyright complaints” in Licenses and Copyright.

5. Measures

Hiding or removing content, a warning, temporary or permanent profile restrictions, and reporting illegal content or threats to life to the authorities.

6. Appeals

Within 6 months of a decision restricting content or a profile, you can appeal by emailing legal@buryaki.com. We will review the decision (by someone other than the original reviewer where possible) and tell you the outcome. Editorial decisions not to publish cannot be appealed.

7. Point of contact

For authorities and users: legal@buryaki.com; languages: Ukrainian and English.
